Dear NovaFlash Readers,
Today, our team is taking part of the American Public Transit Association (APTA) Bus and Paratransit Conference in Kansas City, MO. As a brief overview of the past year, 2013 saw important breakthrough deliveries and renewed partnerships. New BRT systems are now in service in Minnesota Valley, Austin, TX, and Stockton, CA. All have selected the Nova LFX, which combines a stunning look with high-capacity performance. Our Nova LFS Artic has also started to hit the streets of Toronto, ON, and it made history in Clemson as the first articulated bus in service in South Carolina.
Our team introduced a range of innovative features to the market, including: a revamped rear vehicle design that simplifies maintenance and safety checks; and our proven Nova eCooling as standard equipment on all our vehicles, offering significant fuel and maintenance savings to transit authorities.
Challenges create opportunities. The American Public Transit Association recently reported that 10.7 billion trips were taken on U.S. public transportation last year – that’s the highest ridership in 57 years! Public transit is a vital link for our communities and we can be proud of what our industry has accomplished.
Nova Bus transit vehicles are built to handle the toughest operating conditions and offer unequaled performance where it really counts – on your city’s streets.
For those attending the APTA Bus and Paratransit Conference, we look forward to see you today at the Bus Display.
