Nova Bus unveils new LFS ADA Suburban
Saint-Eustache, Quebec, September 26, 2005—Nova Bus announces the launch of its new LFS ADA Suburban bus at the APTA International Public Transportation Expo, taking place September 26 to 28, 2005, at the Dallas Convention Center. This high-capacity suburban bus is the latest addition to the company’s durable, safe, and reliable line of vehicles.
The new bus is similar to the LFS Suburban released earlier this year, with the advantage of being fully ADA compliant. In addition, the LFS ADA Suburban has rear disk brakes, a new feature that reduces maintenance costs and improves braking and bus stability.
The low floor and wide door ensure easy passenger access. Designed to offer one of the smoothest and most comfortable rides in urban transportation, the Nova LFS ADA Suburban includes a spacious and ergonomic driver’s area, high-capacity comfortable seating for up to 46 passengers, convenient luggage racks and reading lamps. With its large panoramic passenger windows and modern look, the bus is also distinctively stylish.
A true workhorse, the LFS ADA Suburban is built with durable 100% stainless steel, extending the life of the vehicle and providing maximum value. The bus also features high impact–resistant thermoplastic materials, which can be replaced in a matter of minutes, and a fiberglass skin with a gelcoat finish that completely prevents corrosion, thus lowering maintenance costs considerably.
Like all Nova vehicles, the LFS ADA Suburban is backed by the company’s strong commitment to quality, on-time delivery, and after-sales support. Nova Bus delivers more than buses—it delivers a positive experience, which in turn has undeniable advantage for operators.
Nova Bus, a division of Prevost Car Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volvo Bus Corporation, which provides financial strength, product development capabilities, and quality manufacturing technology to the world’s second largest motor coach and transit bus manufacturing group.
