The safest bus structure: that's Smart! 

• A sturdy, reliable structure is the foundation of a well-built vehicle. At Nova Bus, safety and low maintenance costs are also built in. Our stainless steel structure doesn’t need costly structural overhaul and yearly anti-corrosion treatments, impacting warranty coverage and maintenance cost. The Nova LFS^® far exceeds APTA White Book crashworthiness requirements and has been successfully crash, fatigue and street-tested over the years.

Swivel Zone: so accessible!

• Nova LFS Smart buses are offered with an optional 1:6 slope ratio, ADA-compliant, flip-up ramp to assist passenger boarding. The ramp’s design optimizes the available floor space at the front of the vehicle, an area we like to call the Swivel Zone. Nova Bus’ Swivel Zone is 18% larger than in any other bus in its category. This really makes all the difference when you have limited mobility. Combined with our front kneeling system which significantly reduces the ramp angle, the Nova LFS^® can readily and safely accommodate any type of mobility device. That’s Smart!

Nova eCooling

• The Nova eCooling system^TM is our proprietary and exclusive electric cooling system. The system is designed to work in all Nova Bus products and can provide significant fuel savings. Nova Bus is the first bus manufacturer to offer electric cooling as a standard feature in all its vehicles. That’s Smart!

Interior design: driven to be stunning!

• The Nova Bus interior design has been updated based on client and focus group feedback, as well as inspired by other industries such as aerospace and rail transportation. Special attention was paid to making the new interior modular, functional and easy to maintain.
